“Absolutely shameful! The political party Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria is protecting bullies and the fascists. Can you imagine how far things have come!?”
With these words, the leader of the MRF and the Parliamentary Group of the MRF-NEW BEGINNING commented on the procedural tricks used by Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria to prevent the parliamentary immunities of Ceyhan Ibryamov and Mario Rangelov from being lifted. This will also prevent them from being investigated for the crimes in which four members of the Vazrazhdane are implicated, after smashing up the building of the EC in Sofia.
“But much more than this - it is yet more proof that this parliament has run its course. If they continue like this, it's over”, Peevski explained.
“If that's how we're going to work, there's no point. I am waiting for the programme of the governmental troika and the prime minister”, the MRF leader reminded them.
“It’s not time for elections, but they must start working, for what other reason does this parliament exist if it does not work for the people”, Delyan Peevski insisted.
“My patience is running out! I hope they take measures and start working. The people cannot put up with this! What is the rating of the parliament? Zero!” Peevski added.
