The fact that more than 200 settlements are without electricity is scandalous.
Even more worrying is that the minister “scares” the electricity end suppliers, who are responsible, with fines!
People who are in distress for days on end during the holidays are not being punished with fines!
I insist that EWRC immediately begin an inspection of the investments and technical security of the networks, because all Bulgarian citizens have paid for having electricity 24/7. And if the crisis continues, the strictest sanctions should be applied, such as revoking the licenses of the companies.
If EWRC does not take action urgently, I will notify all competent authorities for a full inspection of the electricity distribution companies.
There is no reason in the 21st century to allow thousands to be left without electricity in European Bulgaria and for this to go unpunished for the companies responsible.
