The show police operations on three consecutive days against three mayors from the Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) – is this how "Progressive Bulgaria" and their Prime Minister Rumen Radev imagine an election campaign should look?
Who did Radev arrest, and who is he afraid of?
Is this retaliation against MRF voters?
Is it because the MRF promised to shed light on the corruption schemes of "Progressive Bulgaria" and the "Radev-Koprinkov" model?
Or is it because the MRF mayors are rejecting the shameful offers to support the "Radev-Koprinkov" model in exchange for peace and protection?
Or is it because of the MRF's criticism of the spineless foreign policy stance of Radev's government?
The use of the police apparatus and agencies reveals fear and panic over the failure of Radev's administration.
The protests are growing stronger day by day.
With their incompetence, "Progressive Bulgaria" has declared war on everyone – on the people who are struggling under the pressure of high prices, on the most vulnerable – pensioners, children and the sick, on trade unions, businesses, farmers, traders, bankers, students, young doctors, the administration and civil servants, property and car owners.
Radev will not be able to hide his failure behind show police operations.
And it will not silence the voice of the opposition. And it won't scare us.
We will notify all European institutions and all law enforcement authorities of the police repression and pressure and the transformation of the security services into a political cudgel, as was the case in the days of the communist State Security Service.
And we will not cease to shed light on the corruption of the "Radev-Koprinkov" model, nor will we abandon our voters, who rely on us because we are the MRF, and we existed before Radev, and we will exist after his resounding failure.
