PP-DB are entirely predictable in their support for Russian energy interests and dependencies in Bulgaria:
1. They hindered the confiscation of the Rosenets oil terminal from Russian Lukoil
2. Asen Vasilev and his derogation gave 10 billion dollars to the regime in Moscow at the height of the war in Russia.
3. They voted against negotiations with a potential contractor for 7th and 8th blocks of Kozlodui Nuclear Power Plants with Westinghouse AP1000 technology
4. They were strongly opposed to the Korean Hyundai Engineering and Construction company building Westinghouse blocks.
5. Asen Vasilev as the Minister of Finance categorically refused to finance the project company and the National Assembly was forced to vote on a special decision.
6. Mirchev constantly asked parliamentary questions aimed at casting a shadow and doubts on the project and Bulgaria’s partners.
7. PP-DB were strongly opposed to the legal changes with the first signature of MRF-NEW BEGINNING which saved the Bulgarian refinery in Burgas from the control of the Russian Lukoil sanctioned by the US.
8. Yet more proof of the clear pro-Russian politics of the PP-DB can be seen in the picture below.
MRF-NEW BEGINNING is working decisively and will continue to work for the removal of dependencies in Bulgarian energy from the Moscow regime and the introduction of technologies from the partners of Bulgaria from the USA and the European Union.
Because this is in the interest of a strong and independent pro-Western Bulgaria!
