“These people who attack our most precious things - our children - are sick and perverted. They are brainwashed. They lived in a closed environment. The leader of this group placed himself in the centre of a cult which does not respect a family - he was the guru.”
Member of Parliament from the Parliamentary Group of the MRF-NEW BEGINNING Kalin Stoyanov made this comment with regard to the Petrohan case before journalists in the National Assembly.
“The slogan of these people is "The thief cries, catch the thief,"” he said.
Stoyanov addressed a direct question to former Interior Minister Boyko Rashkov :
"Let Boyko Rashkov come out and speak - it was he who gave the weapons to this group! He closed the Regional Police Department in Godech. The region was left without security. ”
According to Stoyanov, the closure of the regional office left the region without sufficient police presence.
“Where is Borislav Sandov – then Minister of the Environment - to explain the agreement? Where is Nadezhda Yordanova, then Minister of Justice? Where is Nikolay Denkov, who was Minister of Education at the time? Where is the mayor of Sofia Vasil Terziev - did he declare his donation to this organisation?”
“Now we have grounds and every reason to check absolutely all NGOs related to PP-DB and especially those with representatives of Soros in Bulgaria. I can only presume that at the moment in Bulgaria there may be similar cases to the Petrohan lodge. These people are mentally ill and perverted, and unfortunately they are abusing our children,” the MP added.
“However, many schools are affiliated with these NGOs. This is a private school with quite high annual fees. And at the same time it had a connection with Kalushev and he even lectured there! As far as I know, Nikolay Denkov has something to do with this particular school. He granted the permit - which is not an insignificant factor. Let him come out too, and explain how he intends to verify this. Where are these organisations? This is a huge problem. These people have infiltrated our education, and our children are part of our education,” Stoyanov added.
“This is a huge problem and unfortunately we all see it. Again, they don't respect family, they don't respect traditions, they don't respect anything. So it would be good to check that there are no other similar cases at the moment.”
Kalin Stoyanov also commented on allegations arising from a report submitted in 2022 to the General Directorate Combating of Organised Crime (GDBOP).
“All this is very easily verifiable. At any given time, checks can be made to see whether there was such a report, who submitted it, when it was submitted, what the claims were, and respectively who distributed this report to whom in order to reach the specific operational police officer. From there, you can examine the report and ascertain the findings. I have no information whether there was such a report. If there was, I am sure that that the relevant departments examined it and worked upon it. "
