On behalf of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms and on my own behalf, I greet the representatives of the Roma community in Bulgaria on the occasion of the International Roma Day - April 8.
On this date the world honors the victims of the Roma community during the World War II and the liberation of the Roma people from the Auschwitz concentration camp at the end of World War II.
Movement for Rights and Freedoms has as its cause guaranteeing the rights and freedoms of all Bulgarian citizens, regardless of their ethnicity, religion and social status, providing conditions for a dignified life for all, as well as stability and peace in the country, the region, Europe and the world.
Today, against the background of Russia's war against Ukraine, it is very important to reaffirm our commitment to the pan-European principles and wish each other health and tireless work for peace and prosperity.
