The despair and fears of the failed political leaders and their formations have erupted in a way which is a danger to both democracy and the rule of law in Bulgaria. Once again, in the face of the limited trust they received from voters, instead of humbling themselves and searching for a solution by forming a regular cabinet and political stability, something which the people demanded from their politicians, these failed politicians want power, but in an "underhand way".
At the cost of everything.
At the cost of peace and stability !? At the cost of violating the Constitution!? At the cost of taking away civil rights !?
So, who are these people who are willing to sacrifice the state for their own personal interests? Politicians about whom the Bulgarian people aptly remarked: "We have all seen a poodle with wads of cash, a perjurer, a counterfeiter, a buyer of Russian gas, all talking nonsense about elections and Trojan horses all to do with the same thing, and a car of the National Security Service that killed someone..."
These are the same people who illegally arrested an opposition leader while their Interior Minister persecuted and harassed our people, all in order to guarantee election results through machinations and intimidation.
All this, and much more, is known to everyone.
However, I want now to stress something very important: as the leader of these nearly 300,000 Bulgarian citizens who placed their trust in the MRF - New Beginning, to all those Bulgarians, Turks and Roma who gave us this very serious responsibility of protecting and defending them and their interests, I will not allow anyone to turn them back into second-class people or to take away their right to live in a peaceful and free Bulgaria.
Nor will I allow anyone to isolate or segregate them or take away their right to representation in power.
What is more, it is unacceptable and unconstitutional to take away basic freedom to elect and be elected.
May such a thought be far from anyone's mind!
In a free, democratic and European Bulgaria, this will not happen! No one can divide people along ethnic or religious lines.
If you want call me Bulgarian, Turk or Roma, and together with all of the MRF - New Beginning, I will not renege on defending and fulfilling our commitments to these people - for a better life, for security and justice. I am proud that they have given me their trust and I will stand up for their rights as their leader by all democratic means.
