The National Conference of the MRF elected Delyan Peevski as Chairman of the MRF. 544 delegates at the party's highest forum voted unanimously for the party chairman.
We have a historic opportunity to change Bulgaria. Bulgaria needs the MRF and a New Beginning. We will be the new beginning for all Bulgaria. We have started and this is just the beginning! The best is yet to come! I will lead you and we will lead Bulgaria to this new beginning and we will achieve it for the sake of the people.
Happy holidays! Be with your families! Be with the people! This is what I want from you - people, people, people, and we will achieve it! With this emotional speech, Delyan Peevski, leader of the MRF, accepted the resolution of the Conference.
This is an enormous responsibility for all of us and especially for me, elected by you to be your leader, Peevski said.
As the leader of Bulgarians, Turks, Roma, Pomaks, Millets, and Vlachs. I take upon myself the mission that you will never be second class, and I promise you that. You will never be second class, you will never be forced into a corner, and everyone understands that, Peevski warned.
The National Conference also adopted a programme statement of the MRF. It is based on the MRF Leadership Programme reflecting the principles, goals and means of implementation.
The National Conference also adopted a new party statute. The party's goals were updated and modernised, the figure of "honorary chairman" was removed and a new youth organisation was established.
The forum continued with a meeting of the newly elected central council. The members of the Central Council voted unanimously on the composition of the Central Operations Bureau, proposed by MRF Chairman Delyan Peevski. The COB includes:

The conference opened with an emotional speech by Paralympic champion Ruzhdi Ruzdhi, and on closure the entire hall sang "My country, my Bulgaria" with Fiki and Tony Storaro.
