I urge Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev, Minister of Defense General Atanas Zapryanov, and Chief of Defense Admiral Emil Eftimov for an immediate response and organization to provide real help. As neighbors and friends, we in the Balkans must stand together when disaster or threat arises.
Bulgaria has the strength, the resources, and now it is time to use them to help those who need it most. This is the moment to show that we are not indifferent or passive towards the pain and suffering of others.
