As chairman of the MRF and chairman of parliamentary caucus of MRF, I express my deep sadness at the news of the terrorist attack targeting the main facility of the Turkish Aerospace Industry (TAI) in Ankara. This assault on the lives and security of innocent people is a blow against basic human values and democracy.
Any such act of violence and terror should keep us on our toes and remind us that our main mission as politicians is to ensure the security of people and the protection of our civilizational choice - democracy.
On behalf of all our members and supporters, I express my sincere condolences to the families and relatives of the victims and wish the injured a speedy recovery.
