“Mr. Dechev,
I have to tell you that your attempt along with Yankulov to divert public opinion from the Petrohan paedophilia scandal, which involves the top of the PP-DB, has been very unsuccessful.
It is quite scandalous that you welcomed your friend, Teodora Georgieva, who is mentally ill, and a protégé of Pepi Euroto, at the airport with a security detail, just to shift attention away from this paedophile scandal.
This is the only case in the history of the European Public Prosecutor's Office that a prosecutor has been removed by the Disciplinary Committee for serious violations.
There is no way you can shift attention from the Petrohan scandal, no matter how close Teodora Georgieva is to you, no matter how many drinking sessions you have taken part in with her Prosecutor Zartova — your trick will not work.
In addition, in the interview with Kenka Shekerova and Miroluba Benatova, you stated bluntly that Gurov introduced you to the Chief Seretary of the MOI.
I quote:
"Yeees! - that's your authentic intonation — he introduced me, Dechev replied enthusiastically, then I had a conversation with him and my impressions were positive, because the Ministry of Interior is such a system where you can easily fall into cognitive dissonance and lose orientation about good or evil.”
That is a verbatim quote, colleagues.
“Plus or minus, more or less, left or right.”
Now I didn't quite understand that last one. What is more or less, what is left or right? How do you fall into cognitive dissonance?
My question is: since you knew absolutely no one in this system, who gave you the lists of all these people to be appointed?
At a moment when Bulgaria is obviously in a complicated security environment and the Ministry of Interior has a major role to play in protecting public order — when there are Russian networks, when there are proxy media which need to be kept under control.
And I want to say — and I said it yesterday — that if an incident occurs as a result of the beheading of Vasi Gurov, who as we discovered today doesn't know where he is, whether he's in Bulgaria, or he'll die as a serviceman or a civilian in Bulgaria, you will personally be responsible for it. And it will weigh heavily on your conscience — on Gurov, Iotova and the one who pointed it out to you.
So answer me: who hands you the lists when you don't know anyone in the system?
And directly n connection with the case, I want to remind you — a transcript of these hearings is kept. How many times, how many times, Dechev, have you called in the investigators in the Petrohan case? How many times have you phoned them?
Every word in this room is transcribed, and your trick with your drinking buddies won't work, believe me.
They will continue to dig into the Petrohan case until the whole truth about the involvement of your friends comes out!
