“We have now seen the composition of the interim cabinet, we also note that it was confirmed by President Iliana Yotova in less than a minute without any comment and objections. This gives us reason to state very clearly that what we have before us is an interim cabinet which we can refer to as Yotova-Soros-Petrohan.”
This position of the Parliamentary Group of the MRF-NEW BEGINNING was expressed by Iskra Mihailova Deputy Chairperson in the corridors of the National Assembly.
“Our definition is based on materials released by the Ministry of Interior yesterday, in which we see that certain members of this cabinet are directly related to the whole Petrohan affair. Secondly, we have also seen something we warned you about. This cabinet will be closely linked to a mainstream political party”, Mihailova added.
“We emphasise once again that the entire responsibility for the work of the cabinet lies with President Yotova, because she also confirmed it on behalf of interim Prime Minister Gyurov”, Iskra Mihailova also stressed.
“Henceforth, we in the MRF will use all means of parliamentary democracy to monitor the work of the interim cabinet”, Ms. Mihailova added.
