This evening I speak to you with passion to tell you that you are heroes and I am proud of what you achieved at these elections in such conditions.
You withstood a level of pressure unprecedented since the time of the communist "Revival Process". You withstood the pressure exerted by the Ministry of the Interior and the entire interim government who used their authority to guarantee an unfair electoral advantage by using methods of repression against the members and supporters of the MRF.
I assure you that every one of you will be defended and that justice will triumph. The perpetrators will be held responsible with all the means of a democratic and rightful state.
Our path and our cause remain unchanged. The people know that they can always rely on us and together we will be successful.
